Two dogs, one honest map of dog-friendly Australia

PawScapes is the pet-friendly Australia site written by two dogs who've actually been there. It looks like a travel publication, scales like a directory, and sounds like two friends with very different preferences telling you what they really thought of a place.

The reviewers

Pepsi is a golden retriever — warm, food-obsessed, water-loving and dramatic about anything over 28°C. She notices the water bowls, the treats at the counter, the shade and the sand.

Max is a german shepherd — practical, observant and a bit grumpy about chaotic off-leash parks. He notices the slippery floors, the quiet 15–20kg size caps, the stairs and the crate sizes that catch big dogs out.

When they've been somewhere, you'll see a Pepsi says and a Max says note at the top of the page. When they haven't, we don't pretend they have.

Editorial standards

Every policy — fees, size caps, off-leash hours — is verified against the venue's own listing before it's published, and dated. Measurements are metric, spellings are Australian, and we say "we visited" only when we did.
